Play, Make, Create.

The squirrels who squabbled. For play make create I did a design. I worked with Isaac. I and Isaac made a robot that collects nuts for the squirrels. It has arms that can extend so it can reach the nuts on high trees. When it has the nuts it stores them in its head. What worked well was the design of the arms and legs.

Kite Day 2021

For kite day I worked with Isaac. We made our kite out of bamboo, string, plastic, and paper. Me and Isaac's kite flew on Friday but it didn't fly on Monday. We found out that our kite is a light wind kite so it only flys when there isn't that much wind but when there is heaps of wind it doesn't fly. Our kite was a success!

Why we get tides?

Play, Make, Create.

Be You. For this Play, Make, Create we did build. I worked with Sol, Liam, and James. We made a boat out of wood. We also made a fishing rod out of a skipping rope and a cricket wicket. We put a motor so the boat could move. What went well was it didn't collapse. What we could have changed was the anchor because it was only made of a hurdle. We worked good together to get the job done.

NumBots & TTRockstars

Term 2, Week 1 2021 During Term 1 we have been practicing our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online program called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on Tungsten for Numbots   I enjoy NumBots because you can earn robot parts. What I find challenging is when you have to get a certain speed. This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online program which helps us to learn our timetables. First, we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that the hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables. I think that TTRockstars will be quite difficult because I don't know much 12 times tables but I am hoping to learn some more

For Play, make, Create I worked with Danny. The book was called up the river. I and Danny made a boat for Beaver, Moose, and Bear. On the boat, there is a button. When you push the button the paddles start to row. We also put lifeboats so incase the boat sinks.
