Were all equal. For Play, Make, Create I worked with Nate. We made an elephant out of lego. What worked well was its mouth because when you put food into its mouth it goes down into its stomach. what I would change is the ears because inside the ears it's red but I would of change it to pink.                                                                                             ...

For this play, make, create I worked by myself. I did a Create. I made a map out of paper. The hardest bit was coloring the ocean because it took ages to do it. The thing that I liked the most on the map was the mountain. what I could have done better was color in the white spots better.

Whetu Challenge.

Tower challenge. In today's Whetu challenge I worked with Danny and Christopher and we built a tower out of newspaper.  our tower fell two times so we only got to make the base. The hardest part was making the tower stay on the base. Something that we could have done better was make our roles tighter. Christopher was in charge of the tape, Danny was in charge of holding the newspaper rolls, and I was in charge Of tapping the newspaper.

The squirrels who squabbled. For play make create I did a design. I worked with Isaac. I and Isaac made a robot that collects nuts for the squirrels. It has arms that can extend so it can reach the nuts on high trees. When it has the nuts it stores them in its head. What worked well was the design of the arms and legs.

Kite Day 2021

Image
For kite day I worked with Isaac. We made our kite out of bamboo, string, plastic, and paper. Me and Isaac's kite flew on Friday but it didn't fly on Monday. We found out that our kite is a light wind kite so it only flys when there isn't that much wind but when there is heaps of wind it doesn't fly. Our kite was a success!

Why we get tides?

Be You. For this Play, Make, Create we did build. I worked with Sol, Liam, and James. We made a boat out of wood. We also made a fishing rod out of a skipping rope and a cricket wicket. We put a motor so the boat could move. What went well was it didn't collapse. What we could have changed was the anchor because it was only made of a hurdle. We worked good together to get the job done.
